Vintage solid wood desk with carved floral details, arched apron, and decorative zig-zag wood inlay around drawer fronts. European French Provincial / French Country style. Louis XV-style writing desk or bureau plat. Hand-carved details throughout with a few studs. Distressed white painted top. Four drawers. Lock box inside one drawer (no key).
Decorative star inlay on front apron. Metal accent studs. Casters were added later and can be removed. Desk is solid and sturdy. Some decorative wood trim is missing on two drawer fronts.
